Internships
Internships and co-op opportunities give the students valuable perspectives on the aviation industry while still enrolled at BSU. Internships are usually one semester while co-ops take place during three alternating semesters. BSU students have participated in both programs at Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Cape Air, Massachusetts Port Authority, Tradewind Aviation, Heliservice, and Textron.

Civil Air Patrol Senior Squadron
Established in 1941, Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the volunteer civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force. CAP provides emergency services such as search and rescue, inland homeland security and disaster relief; cadet programs that offer leadership and character development opportunities for middle and high school youth; and aerospace education programs designed to educate and stimulate interest in aviation and STEM fields. BSU鈥檚 Squadron (MA-005) was chartered in 2012 to connect the university and CAP through a shared mission of education and service.
