Flex Dollars work just like a debit card that is usable at various locations on and off campus. Flex Dollars work dollar for dollar, therefore if you purchase 50 flex dollars you will be credited $50 on your Connect Card. Flex Dollars are usable at various locations across campus and carry over from year to year until you graduate or withdraw.

Students may purchase flex dollars via the following methods:

• in person at Student Accounts
• by mail with a check or credit card
• by phone with a credit card by calling Student Accounts at (508) 531-1225, 
• online using the  with a credit card (MasterCard or VISA).

Students are able to view Flex Dollars, Dining Dollars and meal swipe balances on or by calling the Parking Services and Connect Card Office at 508.531.2897. Reports showing all transactions may also be obtained by contacting the Parking Services and Connect Card Office.  Dining hall receipts also list remaining Flex Dollars, Dining Dollars and meal swipes.

Flex Dollars can be used on-campus at the following locations:

• eCampus (campus store)
• All BSU Dining Halls
• Tinsley Center Fitness
• Starbucks (on campus only)
• Dunkin (on campus only)
• Vending Machines
• Mail Services (stamps)
• Student Involvement and Leadership Office (movie and event tickets)
• Wellness Center

• Meal plans are refundable in accordance with the .
• Meal swipes expire at the end of each semester and are non-transferable.
• Dining dollars will carry forward from fall to spring semester. All dining dollars expire at the end of the spring semester and do not carry over to the following fall semester.
• Changes to meal plan selections prior to the fall deadline. Only one change is allowed per semester.

Dining Dollars are funds that are added to your Connect Card upon your purchase of a meal plan and are included in the cost. They can be used at all BSU dining locations, with the exception of Dunkin and expire at the end of the spring semester.

Flex Dollars are an optional cash alternative at BSU and are also loaded onto the Connect Card. Flex dollars can be used at all BSU dining locations, the BSU bookstore, printers, copiers, vending machines, and other needs on campus. Flex dollars remain on your account during your enrollment at BSU and carry over from year to year.

Meal swipes can be used at Flynn Dining and East Campus Commons (ECC).

Dining dollars can be used at all four dining locations including the on campus Dunkin, Starbucks, Starship robot delivery, Grubhub and Bear Bites food truck.

Yes, parents and other guests are allowed to add flex dollars to your account. Once you are logged into the Connect Card Online site, click on Personalize and then Grant Guest Access. Here you will provide an email and customize what you would like your guest to see.
